Hot Dogs
Traditional British hot dogs featuring frankfurter sausages. Simple ingredients, great results.
Ingredients
- 2 frankfurter sausages
- tomato ketchup to taste
- 1 tbspn oil
- mustard of choice (optional)
- 125 gm onion (prepared weight)
- finger rolls to suit
Method

Slice onion into rings.
- 2
Slice finger rolls in half, leaving a hinge, and butter.

Heat oil and fry onions over a low to medium heat until golden.

Normally frankfurters can be microwaved - see instructions on packet for timing.

Slice the frankfurters lengthways and place one on each of the buttered rolls.

Cover frankfurters with fried onions.

Add tomato ketchup to taste.

Optionally add mustard of choice.
