Flavoured Flatbread
Traditional British flavoured flatbread featuring worcestershire sauce. Simple ingredients, great results.
Ingredients
- 60 gm wholemeal flour (3 heaped tbspn)
- 1 or 2 tspn olive oil
- ΒΌ tspn salt
- 1 tbspn worcestershire sauce
Method

Using a suitable bowl add the flour and salt and mix well.

Add the oil and worcestershire sauce and mix well.

Add just enough water (approx 5 tspn) to bring the dough together and mix the dough well using the fingers.

Roll into a ball and flatten slightly.

Flour a surface and a rolling pin and roll the dough into a circular shape about 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter, adding additional flour to prevent sticking as necessary.

Over a high flame heat a frying pan and add little oil.

Remove any excess flour from the flatbread surface.

When the pan is hot add the flatbread and fry for about .

Lightly oil the top surface, flip over, and continue to fry for another .

There should be light brown marks on both sides.
