Corned Beef Hash
Traditional British corned beef hash featuring For one. Simple ingredients, great results.
Ingredients

- 100 gm corned beef
- 1 tbspn oil
- 140 gm potato (prepared weight)
- 1 tbspn worcestershire sauce
- 125 gm onion (prepared weight)
- 1 tspn dijon or grain mustard
- 50 gm beetroot (optional)
Method

Put the tin of corned beef into the fridge for about . (this makes it easier to cut.)

Cut the corned beef into 1 cm cubes.

Cut the potato (skins on) into 1 cm cubes and put in a small saucepan.

Pour boiling water over the potatoes, add salt, and parboil for , then drain and reserve.

In a small bowl mix the worcestershire sauce with the mustard and carefully mix in the corned beef cubes.

Thinly slice the onion.

Cut the beetroot (if using) into 1 cm cubes.
