Bean and Thyme Bake
Vegetarian bean and thyme bake made with crème fraîche. Hearty enough to keep you full.
Ingredients
- 1 tbspn olive oil
- 2 tbspn crème fraîche
- 150 gm onion (prepared weight)
- 1 tbspn dried thyme
- 1 tspn garlic
- 1 slice bread
- 175 gm tinned beans of choice
- 75 gm cheese
Method

Finely chop the onion.

Crush the garlic.

Make breadcrumbs from the slice of bread.

Grate the cheese.

Mix the breadcrumbs with the cheese and ½ of the thyme.

Butter an ovenproof dish.

Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat, and fry the onion for until soft.

Stir in the garlic and cook for .

Add the beans, crème fraîche, season to taste, and mix well.

Remove from the heat and stir in the rest of the thyme.
