Tikka Spice Mix
A classic British Indian Restaurant tikka spice mix made with a pre-cooked base sauce. Rich, fragrant and ready in under 20 minutes.

100 ml oil Β· 750 gm onions (prepared weight) Β· 1 tspn salt Β· 1 tbspn turmeric Β· 1 tspn ground coriander Β· Β½ tspn ground cumin Β· +8 more
Ingredients
- Approx 10 tspn (50 ml)
- 1 tbspn coriander seeds
- 1 tspn ground ginger
- 1 tspn cumin seeds
- Β½ tspn turmeric
- 2 tspn dried mint
- Β½ tspn garam masala
- 2 tspn paprika
- ΒΌ tspn chilli powder
- 1 tspn garlic granules or powder
- ΒΌ tspn salt
Method

Using a spice grinder or pestle and mortar, grind the coriander seeds, cumin seeds and mint to a fine powder.

Thouroughly mix in all the remaining ingredients.

Store in an airtight container and keep in a cool and dark place.
