Masala Sauce
A takeaway-style masala sauce with that authentic BIR flavour. Uses a pre-made base sauce for speed without sacrificing taste.

Β½ of a 415 gm tin french onion soup (200 ml) Β· 1 tin (400 gm) tomato soup Β· 1 tbspn oil Β· Β½ tspn salt Β· 1Β½ tspn garlic granules Β· 1Β½ tspn ground coriander Β· +2 more
Ingredients
- Makes about 70 ml
- 3 tbspn yogurt
- ΒΌ tspn ginger (grated)
- 2 tspn lemon juice
- ΒΌ tspn garlic (crushed)
- 1 tspn g2 masala paste
- Β½ tspn tandoori masala spice mix (see note 1)
- 1/8 tspn deep orange colour

Grate the ginger, crush the garlic and mix together with a little oil or water to make a paste.

Mix all ingredients together, stirring well, then cover and refrigerate.
