Balti Baked Beans
Authentic Indian balti baked beans made the traditional way β no shortcuts, just proper home-cooked flavour.
Ingredients
- 1 tbspn oil
- Β½ tspn ginger
- 125 gm onion (prepared weight)
- Β½ tspn garlic
- 1 tspn green chilli
- Β½ tspn ground coriander
- 1 small tin (220 gm) baked beans
- ΒΌ tspn garam masala
- Β½ green pepper
- ΒΌ tspn ground cumin
- 1 tomato (option)
- ΒΌ tspn salt

Chop the onion.

Deseed and finely chop the chilli.

Finely chop the ginger.

Finely chop the garlic.

Deseed and chop the green pepper into approx 1 cm chunks.

Heat the oil in a pan.

Add the onion and fry on a high heat for .
