Aloo Palak
A takeaway-style aloo palak with that authentic BIR flavour. Uses a pre-made base sauce for speed without sacrificing taste.

Β½ of a 415 gm tin french onion soup (200 ml) Β· 1 tin (400 gm) tomato soup Β· 1 tbspn oil Β· Β½ tspn salt Β· 1Β½ tspn garlic granules Β· 1Β½ tspn ground coriander Β· +2 more
Ingredients
- 1 medium potato
- 2 tbspn passata
- 150 ml c46 curry base sauce (see note 1)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbspn oil
- 90 - 100 gm spinach (palak)
- Β½ tspn fennel seeds
- 50 gm peas
- ΒΌ tspn turmeric
- ΒΌ tspn garam masala
- 1 tspn ground coriander
- 1 tspn tikka paste (optional)

If needed, wash and dry the spinach.

Chop the spinach.

Mix the passata with the g2 base sauce.

Peel the potato and cut into approx 1 cm cubes, then boil for in salted water, then drain and reserve.
