Buffalo Chicken Wings
Crispy baked chicken wings tossed in a buttery hot sauce — the definitive American game day food.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken wings, tips removed, split at the joint
- 1 tspn baking powder
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tbspn hot sauce (Frank's RedHot or similar)
- 30 gm butter, melted
- 1 tspn garlic powder
- Blue cheese or ranch dressing to serve
- Celery sticks to serve

Pat the wings completely dry with kitchen paper.

Toss with baking powder, salt and pepper.

Arrange on a wire rack over a baking tray.

Bake at 220C for , flipping halfway, until very crispy.

Make the buffalo sauce: mix the hot sauce, melted butter and garlic powder.

Toss the hot wings in the buffalo sauce until well coated.

Serve immediately with blue cheese or ranch dressing and celery sticks.
Notes
